GEC is working in the field of food culture, organic food in canteens, schools, restaurants for about 18 years - advising large-scale caterers and community caterers on the implementation of target group-oriented, healthy, cost-efficient and ecological catering. The focus of K. Kaiblinger is on matching the interests of the different groups (management, chefs, kitchen staff, producer and supplier of food). R. Zehetgruber has long time experience in nutritional-balanced and sustainable menu-planning and in training chefs and kitchen staff. They managed pilot projects like „organic food in Austrian canteens” (about 300 kitchens). Kitchen teams are companied for 1-2 years in this program. GEC is also active in regional development projects that use public procurement and regionalization of public catering as a motor of health and climate protection (e.g Region Eferding with 13 municipalities).
